Stable Normative Explanations

Modelling the concept of explanation is a central matter in AI systems, as it provides methods for developing eXplainable (XAI). When applies to normative reasoning, XAI aims at promoting trust decisions systems: fact, such depends on understanding whether systems predictions correspond legally compliant scenarios. This paper extends reasoning work by Governatori et al. (2022) notion stable explanations non-monotonic setting: when an stable, can be used infer same conclusion independently other facts that are found afterwards.
